| Connecticut State FOP Scholarship | |
The Connecticut State Fraternal Order of Police Lodge awards scholarships each year totaling $10,000.00. The objective is to award
twenty (20) $500.00 scholarships. The awards are based upon the eligibility and criteria set forth below.

| Eligibility | |
| To be eligible for a scholarship award, the recipient must be: | |
 |
A son, daughter, stepson, stepdaughter, grandson or granddaughter of a member of The Connecticut State Fraternal Order of Police who is in good standing for at least six (6) months prior to application. |
|
Planning enrollment in a diploma, certificate or degree program at an accredited college, university or community college as a full time student. |
|
Must complete and mail the application via certified mail between June 1st and July 1st. NOTE: Awards are limited to one per year per member. |

The Connecticut State Fraternal Order of Police Lodge shall award scholarships based on the recommendation of the Scholarship
Committee. The scholarships will be given on a 'first come, first awarded' basis and will close at twenty (20) eligible applicants.

|
In the event that less than twenty (20) eligible applications are received, the Scholarship Committee shall be authorized to
recommend a larger amount of award, equally dispersing the $10,000.00 funded scholarship.

|
The check will be sent directly to the college, university or community college upon request from the scholarship recipient when
enrollment is confirmed.
